CNC Machinist – DMG, Mazak & Integrex Machines

About the role

The CNC Machinist will program, set up and operate CNC machines to produce high‑quality threaded connections and other parts for the oil & gas sector. The role requires strict adherence to safety standards and careful maintenance of company equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and policies provided by NOV.
• Produce and machine threaded connections and parts according to drawings and programs.
• Inspect and verify that each part meets the specified tolerances.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
• Care for, use, and protect all company equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Superintendent and verify work orders.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose machine malfunctions by observing and listening to equipment.
• Capability to study first‑article parts, drawings and engineering data to determine machining methods.
• Strong math, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Mechanical and technical knowledge, including CAD/CAM concepts.
• Stamina for long hours of repetitive work.

Required skills

• CNC machine programming and operation.
• Experience with DMG MORI (Beta & Gamma) machines.
• Experience with Mazak Smooth Integrex (i‑500s, Integrex 400‑IV, ST450, STN500/550M).
• Experience with Doosan (Puma700LM, DBC130L) machines.
• Knowledge of rotary shoulder connections (API, Grant Prideco, Tenaris, Vam).
• Familiarity with HWDP components (drill pipe, drill collars, drill stem).
