Co-head Business Facilitation – MENA Region

About the role

InvestHK is seeking a Co‑head of Business Facilitation for the MENA region to join its Investment Promotion Team in Dubai. The role will drive go‑global initiatives across the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia, helping Chinese Mainland enterprises expand internationally and attracting foreign direct investment into Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Hong Kong as a “Super Connector” for Chinese Mainland firms entering GCC markets (UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia).
• Implement the annual geographic business plan to leverage Hong Kong’s advantages for outbound and inbound investment.
• Provide practical assistance to companies during market entry, including advice, landing support and stakeholder connections.
• Develop and maintain a list of local partner organisations such as ministries, investment agencies, free‑trade zones and chambers of commerce.
• Conduct proactive outreach to nurture relationships with local partners and raise Hong Kong’s profile.
• Organise visit programmes, promotional events and networking activities for Chinese delegations and sector missions.
• Support Economic and Trade Express missions, both inbound to Hong Kong and outbound to the region.
• Collect market intelligence, monitor policy changes and deliver timely updates to headquarters and Mainland enterprises.
• Maintain systematic records of contacts, leads and promotional activities and provide administrative reporting support.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in investment promotion, international business development or trade facilitation.
• Deep knowledge of GCC markets and experience working with Chinese Mainland enterprises.
• Proven ability to build and manage relationships with government agencies, industry bodies and professional service providers.
• Fluency in English; Arabic and Mandarin are advantageous.
