Coating Advisor

About the role

The Coating Advisor joins Jotun's Technical Service team in Dubai, providing on‑site technical advice, paint application support and inspections to ensure coating specifications are met and customer satisfaction achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Advise customers, contractors and applicators on surface preparation and paint application, including coating inspections.
• Monitor projects for compliance with specifications, quality requirements and Jotun HSE standards.
• Prepare technical inspection reports and project documentation.
• Troubleshoot coating‑related challenges and recommend practical solutions.
• Support sales colleagues with technical expertise before, during and after project execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in paints, coatings, corrosion protection, offshore or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with PFP or intumescent coatings is preferred.
• NACE Level II or FROSIO Level 3 certification.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and a valid UAE driving licence (preferred).
• Willingness to travel abroad based on project needs.
