Commercial Contracts Support Manager

About the role

The Commercial Contracts Support Manager will lead contract administration, compliance, claims management and dispute resolution for the Power and Water Transmission Scheme in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to senior management, the role coordinates with delivery contractors, supervision consultants and EPCs to ensure contractual obligations are met on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Provide commercial and contractual support across all project lots and monitor contract compliance.
• Assist in contract negotiations, manage claims, and resolve disputes through structured correspondence.
• Administer the main contract and sub‑contracts, maintain registers, and track variations and change requests.
• Interpret contract clauses, advise the project team on risks and entitlements, and ensure timely commercial closure.
• Lead dispute resolution, support senior management in mediation, arbitration or litigation preparation, and manage contractual close‑out procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Law or Quantity Surveying; MRICS or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of contracts administration experience on large infrastructure programmes.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities, with a proactive risk‑management approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Proficiency in MS Project.
• Experience with cost control software.
