Commercial & Procurement Manager

About the role

Makeen Properties, a leading family‑owned real‑estate business, is seeking a Commercial & Procurement Manager to oversee commercial management, procurement, and contract administration across its diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and industrial assets.

Key responsibilities

• Review commercial proposals, pricing, payment terms and exclusions; track budgets and commitments with Finance and project owners.
• Lead procurement planning from requirement definition to award for consultants, contractors, suppliers and service providers.
• Prepare and manage RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids, negotiate terms and recommend approvals.
• Negotiate and administer consultant appointments, works contracts, supply and service agreements, lease and acquisition commitments.
• Monitor contractual obligations, performance metrics and risk allocation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish cost benchmarks, frameworks and maintain supplier performance records.

Required profile

• Minimum 96 months (8 years) of experience in commercial and procurement management, preferably within real‑estate or construction.
• Proven ability to work closely with finance, project owners and senior management.
• Strong analytical skills for cost control and budget monitoring.
