Commercial & Procurement Manager – Supply Chain

About the role

Jaheziya is looking for an experienced Commercial & Procurement Manager / Supply Chain Manager to lead its commercial, procurement and supply‑chain functions. The role will ensure the timely, cost‑effective delivery of goods, equipment and services essential for emergency services and other operational projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement and supply‑chain activities, including sourcing, tendering, purchasing and logistics.
• Manage RFQs, RFPs and tenders, conduct commercial evaluations and negotiate with suppliers.
• Source technical and operational items such as PPE, firefighting & rescue equipment, vehicles, specialist tools, spare parts and operational supplies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers and service providers.
• Negotiate supplier, subcontractor and framework agreements.
• Support project mobilisation and ensure critical equipment and services are available on time.
• Provide procurement and commercial input for bids, proposals and contract renewals.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage procurement risks, drive cost savings and ensure supply continuity.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years progressive experience in procurement, supply‑chain or commercial management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract management and technical procurement.
• Experience in the UAE/GCC managing local and international suppliers of technical equipment and services.
• Preferable experience in emergency services, fire & rescue, defence, oil & gas, industrial services or government contracting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, Commerce, Finance or equivalent.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM or CSCP are a plus.
