Commercial Receivables Executive – Finance Operations

About the role

The Commercial Receivables Executive will oversee the end‑to‑end accounts‑receivable process for Al Futtaim Contracting, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections and strong customer relationships. This role is pivotal in safeguarding cash flow and supporting the operations division.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate, record and process financial data to maintain accurate accounts‑receivable records.
• Prepare and dispatch customer invoices in line with accounting procedures.
• Collect payments within agreed terms, monitor outstanding balances and follow up on discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the operations team to obtain necessary certifications and secure advance payments.
• Maintain and update customer account information, ensuring timely processing of incoming payments.
• Generate weekly debt performance reports and present collection plans to management.

Required profile

• Associate degree or equivalent in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounts‑receivable management.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes and maintain confidentiality.
• Valid driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online).
• Experience using ERP platforms such as Ariba, SAP and M‑file.
• Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and time‑management skills.
