Commis 1 – Cold & Hot Kitchen Assistant

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Meet and exceed customer and team member expectations, providing value‑added service.
• Monitor and control the cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment.
• Prepare workstation and mise en place according to daily requirements and stock lists.
• Supervise breakfast and à la carte service, ensuring correct sequence and portion control.
• Communicate any irregularities to the Sous Chef and hand over to the next shift.
• Record recipes and assist the Chef de partie with daily specials and promotions.
• Follow safety, first‑aid, ISO9001/ISO14001 and Accor environmental policies.

Required profile

• Creative and passionate about food and customer service.
• Able to work in a high‑pressure environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or culinary diploma/certification.
• Experience in a 5‑star hotel or relevant hospitality setting.
