Commis 2 – European Cuisine (Full‑Time)

About the role

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers safely.
• Test foods to determine proper doneness and monitor food quality throughout preparation.
• Prepare cold foods and portion dishes for service.
• Set‑up and break down work stations, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, tools and equipment.
• Check and maintain correct temperatures of appliances and food items.
• Follow all company safety, security and hygiene policies, reporting any incidents or maintenance needs.

Required profile

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of related food‑and‑beverage work experience.
• Supervisory experience: None required.
• License or certification: None required.
