Commis 3 – Kitchen Assistant (Full‑time)

About the role

The Commis 3 supports the culinary team at Fairmont Dubai by preparing high‑quality dishes and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. You will work under the Executive Sous Chef, following the hotel’s standards of safety, hygiene and guest satisfaction. This position offers a chance to develop culinary skills in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Attend daily shift briefings and share ideas with the culinary team.
• Prepare and maintain mise en place, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene standards set by Dubai Municipality.
• Manage storeroom requisitions, product rotation and minimise waste.
• Complete grooming, spot‑check and temperature control sheets as required.
• Support kitchen managers by communicating food consistency and quality.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Commis 3 is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly responsible, reliable and able to work as part of a team.
• Calm and courteous focus on guest needs.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 20 lb and perform kitchen tasks.
