Commis 3 – Pitstop (Food & Beverage)

About the role

The Commis 3 – Pitstop supports the kitchen team at W Hotels by preparing ingredients, cooking, and maintaining a clean work environment. This full‑time, onsite position is based on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, and requires a strong focus on food quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, chop, weigh, and store food items according to recipes and standards.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Cook and assemble dishes, ensuring presentation and quality meet hotel standards.
• Set up and break down work stations, and maintain cleanliness of kitchen tools and equipment.
• Monitor food temperatures, conduct quality checks, and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with cold‑food preparation and serve portions onto appropriate receptacles.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related food‑preparation or kitchen experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lb and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
