About the role
Join the culinary team at Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas in Abu Dhabi as a Commis Chef. This entry‑level position supports the kitchen’s daily operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene and guest satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing, cooking, and plating dishes according to the menu and standards.
- Maintain strict health and safety practices, including personal hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
- Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow kitchen staff, receiving and acting on feedback.
- Handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining speed and accuracy.
- Support basic food organization, storage, and inventory control.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one month of experience in food & beverage or restaurant operations.
- Passion for teamwork and delivering excellent guest service.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and multitask efficiently.
