About the role

Join the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah kitchen team as a Commis II – Pastry, where you will help create high‑quality pastry dishes and deliver memorable dining experiences for hotel guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to designated recipes and quality standards.
• Manage guest orders efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Execute complex recipes, maintain strong knowledge of menu offerings, and oversee station execution, quality control and inventory checks.
• Inspect all preparations and plates before service to guarantee quality and presentation standards.
• Keep food service stations stocked, sanitary and organized, following proper food handling, storage and safety protocols.
• Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items to meet inventory needs.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations.
