Commis III – Food & Beverage Role in Dubai

About the role

The Commis III will support the kitchen team at Four Points by Sheraton on Sheikh Zayed Road, preparing ingredients and cooking dishes in line with the hotel’s quality and presentation standards. This full‑time, on‑site position requires a hands‑on approach to food preparation and equipment operation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients, wash, peel, weigh, measure and mix foods.
• Cook dishes according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, including hot and cold foods.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers safely.
• Monitor food quality, test doneness, and ensure correct temperatures.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve portions, and maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, tools and equipment.
• Follow safety, security and sanitation policies, reporting any hazards or incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a food‑and‑beverage or culinary environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift objects up to 25 lb throughout the shift.
• Professional appearance and ability to work as part of a team.
