Commis III – Kitchen Assistant (Sheikh Zayed Road)

About the role

We are looking for a Commis III to join our kitchen team at Four Points by Sheraton on Sheikh Zayed Road. The role involves preparing and cooking food according to our standards while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring and mixing.
• Cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, using ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Prepare cold foods and test cooked items for doneness.
• Monitor food quality and temperature throughout preparation.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions and receptacles.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives and equipment.
• Follow company safety, security and hygiene policies and report any issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related kitchen or food‑service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
