Commissioning Engineer – Telecom

About the role

The Commissioning Engineer – Telecom will support the Commissioning Manager and Principal Commissioning Engineer in delivering on‑site commissioning activities for oil & gas and telecom projects. The role involves hands‑on testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in walk‑down inspections, punch‑listing and testing of mechanical, electrical and instrument components on site.
• Develop and maintain commissioning manuals, start‑up procedures, spares lists and consumable inventories.
• Perform equipment system checks, functional testing and resolve operational issues during start‑up and performance testing.
• Supervise craft personnel during pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities and coordinate with other engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with 3‑8 years of oil & gas experience.
• Minimum 2 years of commissioning and start‑up experience in chemical, refinery or oil & gas facilities.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally for site assignments.
