Commissioning Manager

About the role

Wood’s Oil, Gas & New Energies business is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead mechanical commissioning activities across FEED/EPC projects. The role will ensure timely completion of work orders, coordinate contractors, and oversee hand‑over of commissioned assets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and enforce commissioning scope in line with FEED/EPC contracts and client objectives.
• Coordinate construction, installation and commissioning teams from start‑up through hand‑over.
• Review and contribute to construction/installation plans, procedures and EPC package requirements.
• Monitor progress against project schedules and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and external contractors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical commissioning within oil & gas or related energy projects.
• Strong understanding of FEED, EPC and hand‑over processes.
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and drive results to schedule.
• Excellent coordination and documentation skills.
