About the role
The Commissioning Manager will lead the planning, scheduling and execution of commissioning activities for oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures that all commissioning work complies with client specifications, contractual scope and industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Project Commissioning Execution Plan and detailed commissioning schedule.
- Coordinate pre‑commissioning, commissioning and start‑up activities across all disciplines and with subcontractors.
- Assess resource requirements, procure special tools and temporary facilities, and manage related budgets.
- Lead regular review meetings with clients and vendors to address HSE compliance, progress and issue resolution.
- Monitor KPIs, track contractual deviations, and produce progress reports for senior management.
- Ensure hand‑over of the plant to the client in line with agreed schedules and documentation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant oil and gas experience, including at least 5 years leading commissioning works.
