Communications Associate - UAE National

About the role

Deliveroo's Communications & Policy team supports its marketplace of consumers, riders and restaurant partners by crafting compelling stories, building stakeholder relationships and navigating regulatory landscapes. As a Communications Associate (UAE National), you will support the Head of Communications in developing and executing integrated consumer and corporate communications strategies, with strong ownership, attention to detail and the ability to manage several work streams.

Key responsibilities

• Support quarterly communications plans and reports, and coordinate quarterly functional updates
• Coordinate with regional and global teams on shared initiatives, reporting and requests
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and support CSR and community programs with NGOs and charity partners
• Execute communications initiatives across consumer and corporate streams, coordinating with agency partners
• Support campaign rollouts, announcements and partnerships, activations, media engagements and public-facing initiatives
• Prioritise incoming requests by business impact and urgency, and support executive and leadership communications
• Develop communications materials such as press releases, spokespeople interviews and internal updates
• Monitor media coverage and maintain weekly coverage reports, WIP trackers and monthly All Hands and Newsroom updates
• Review press queries and escalate them when needed

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal Arabic and English, with attention to detail and tone
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High level of organisation and ownership
• Editorial judgement and ability to simplify complex information into clear, structured messaging
