Communications Specialist – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

The Communications Specialist will support both external and internal communications, enhancing brand reputation and visibility across the United Arab Emirates. This 12‑month contract role involves media relations, PR agency coordination, translation, and corporate event support.

Key responsibilities

• Execute PR strategies, draft and translate press releases, media statements, articles and speeches in Arabic and English.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets and industry influencers; oversee media monitoring and reporting.
• Develop internal newsletters, announcements and leadership communications to boost employee engagement.
• Translate and localise website content, app notifications, marketing materials and reports.
• Plan and execute corporate events, sponsorship activations and industry exhibitions, coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
• Liaise with PR agencies, media vendors and event organisers to ensure timely delivery of communication projects.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or a similar role.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with strong writing, editing and translation abilities.
• Proven experience in media relations, PR agency management and event planning.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
