Compliance Officer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to act as the outsourced CO and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for clients regulated by the DFSA and FSRA. The role will serve as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities and support the growth of our regulatory and compliance practice.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the outsourced Compliance Officer & MLRO for DFSA and FSRA regulated clients.
• Maintain contact with competent regulatory authorities on all compliance and AML/CTF matters.
• Improve and enhance existing policies, procedures, and compliance monitoring programs.
• Develop client proposals and assist senior partners in expanding service offerings.
• Lead advisory projects on strategic regulatory matters, including DIFC/DFSA, ADGM/FSRA, Central Bank of the UAE, and SCA.
• Assist with authorization applications, drafting policies and procedures.
• Design and implement risk and compliance monitoring frameworks for clients.
• Support the development of ethics, integrity, and compliance culture within client organisations.
• Prepare publications, factsheets, podcasts, and blogs on regulatory topics.
• Produce management information reporting and support internal projects as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in compliance advisory or regulatory risk consulting.
• Previous experience as a registered CO/MLRO with the DFSA and/or FSRA.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to build rapport with clients and work collaboratively with senior leadership.
