Compliance Officer

About the role

The Compliance Officer will support the company in maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, corporate governance requirements and internal policies, and help implement an effective compliance framework across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the company’s and employees’ compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Prepare and implement the annual compliance plan under management guidance.
• Conduct periodic compliance reviews and testing to assess adherence to policies and procedures.
• Identify compliance gaps, recommend corrective actions and follow up until closure.
• Maintain a compliance obligations and action tracker and follow up on regulatory and internal requirements.
• Monitor regulatory developments and coordinate with Legal and relevant departments.
• Deliver compliance training and awareness sessions and keep training records.
• Support the review and update of compliance‑related policies and procedures.
• Maintain records of compliance incidents, conflicts of interest and other matters.
• Prepare periodic compliance reports covering findings, risks, breaches and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1–2 years of relevant compliance experience.
• Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills.
• Ability to review processes, identify gaps and follow up on corrective actions.
• Good presentation skills and ability to deliver employee training.
• Proficient in English; Arabic is an advantage.
