Compliance Officer – UAE (Remote)

About the role

CoinClan, a licensed cryptocurrency exchange expanding its footprint in the UAE, is looking for a Compliance Officer to lead its compliance programme. This fully remote position will ensure that all trading, marketing and promotional activities meet UAE regulations and international AML/CFT standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain AML and Counter‑Terrorism Financing policies tailored to UAE requirements.
• Monitor and review P2P trade transactions for suspicious activity and report to relevant authorities.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and internal audits across all operational areas.
• Liaise with UAE regulators, auditors and internal stakeholders to address compliance queries.
• Oversee marketing and promotional content to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of compliance experience in financial services, fintech or cryptocurrency sector.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE financial regulations and AML/CFT frameworks.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
