Computer Science ICT Teacher (2027‑28)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Computer Science ICT Teacher to join its growing network of schools for the 2027‑28 academic year. The role involves delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that inspire curiosity and support students’ academic, social and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Computer Science and ICT lessons that cater to the full ability range of the class.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff and parents to ensure positive learning outcomes.
• Assess student progress using Target Tracker, analyse data and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy and act as a positive role model.
• Participate in curriculum action groups, school events, extracurricular activities and occasional weekend or evening duties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is not the first language.
• Passion for teaching the whole child, high professionalism and a clean DBS/police check.
• Commitment to extra‑curricular involvement and respect for a diverse school community.
