Computer Science Teacher (ICT) – Immediate Start

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Computer Science/ICT Teacher to join immediately. The role involves delivering inspiring lessons, supporting student outcomes, and contributing to a nurturing, play‑based learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Computer Science/ICT lessons that meet curriculum requirements and cater to the full ability range.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff and parents to ensure positive academic and personal development.
• Assess, record and analyse student progress using Target Tracker and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy and act as a positive role model.
• Participate in curriculum action groups, school events, outings and weekly extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teacher qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with EAL (English as an Additional Language) students.
• Passion for whole‑child education and a high level of professionalism.
• Clean enhanced DBS/police check.
