Construction Director

About the role

A confidential construction company is hiring a highly experienced, results-driven Construction Director to lead and oversee its construction operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in the UAE construction industry and a proven track record of delivering high-rise, residential, commercial and large-scale projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee multiple construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Lead Project Managers, Construction Managers, engineers and site teams.
• Ensure projects meet approved budgets, timelines and quality standards.
• Manage project execution, resource allocation, subcontractors and site operations.
• Coordinate with consultants, developers, authorities and senior management.
• Drive operational efficiency, project profitability and compliance with UAE construction regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• 15-20 years of construction experience, including significant experience in Dubai/UAE.
• Proven senior leadership experience in a reputable main contracting company.
• Strong background in high-rise, residential and commercial developments.
• Ability to manage several large-scale projects at once.

Required skills

• Excellent leadership, commercial awareness and decision-making skills.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations, construction standards and project execution.
