Construction Disputes Lawyer – Junior (NQ‑2 PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Construction Disputes Lawyer to join our leading international disputes team in Dubai. This position offers a unique opportunity for a newly qualified or junior lawyer to develop a contentious construction practice across high‑value, complex projects in the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with arbitration, litigation and adjudication matters involving construction and infrastructure disputes.
• Advise clients on contractual issues arising from EPC contracts, construction agreements and related documentation.
• Support dispute‑resolution strategy, including risk assessment, case preparation and document review.
• Work on large‑scale, high‑value projects across the region, liaising with experts, counsel and clients throughout the dispute lifecycle.
• Provide support to partners and senior lawyers on major arbitration and court proceedings.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with up to 2 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in contentious construction or construction disputes.
• Exposure to arbitration, litigation or adjudication within the construction and infrastructure sectors.
• Good understanding of EPC contracts and FIDIC‑based arrangements.
• Strong drafting, analytical and communication abilities.
• Commercial awareness, organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Motivated, collaborative and eager to build a career in a leading international disputes practice.
