Construction Manager - Building / Infrastructure

About the role

An experienced Construction Manager is sought to manage and oversee site execution for building and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures works are carried out safely, on schedule, within budget and in full compliance with contract requirements, approved drawings and Abu Dhabi authority regulations. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site construction activities in line with approved project plans, drawings, specifications and method statements
• Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, planning and commercial teams, and monitor manpower, equipment and materials
• Implement approved construction schedules, monitor progress and coordinate recovery and acceleration plans
• Manage subcontractors through daily and weekly coordination meetings, ensuring quality, safety and schedule compliance
• Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures, ITPs and inspection requirements, and enforce HSE standards
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with DMT/ADM, ADDC, ADCD and consultants, and close inspection comments and NCRs
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports, maintain site records and assist with handover, snagging, testing, commissioning and final inspections

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• 12-15 years of construction experience, with strong experience in Abu Dhabi-based projects
• Experience in residential, commercial, infrastructure or mixed-use projects
• Preferred: experience with main contractors in Abu Dhabi and strong authority liaison and inspection coordination

Required skills

• Understanding of construction methods and sequencing
• Knowledge of Abu Dhabi construction regulations and authority processes
• Familiarity with Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD and MS Office
• Leadership, coordination, problem-solving and ability to work under pressure
