Construction Manager - Civil

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager – Civil to plan, direct, and oversee all construction activities from project inception to completion, ensuring safe delivery, schedule adherence, budget control, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects within the company’s portfolio.
• Review designs, specifications, and contracts to determine project requirements.
• Develop and implement construction strategies, schedules, and resource plans.
• Oversee site mobilization, equipment allocation, and manpower deployment.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and supervisors to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure performance meets requirements.
• Monitor budgets, control costs, and approve justified variations.
• Conduct regular site inspections for quality, safety, and progress.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to maintain relationships and resolve concerns.
• Prepare and present progress, cost, and performance reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 12–15 years of construction management experience, including 5 years in senior leadership roles on large‑scale infrastructure/building projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Proficiency in project planning, cost control, and contract administration.
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of regional construction laws, authority requirements, and permitting processes.
