Construction Manager – EPC Projects

About the role

Emirates Electrical & Instrumentation Company LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead onshore EPC projects for major oil & gas clients, including ADNOC. The role oversees all construction disciplines, ensures safety compliance, and drives project delivery against schedule and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage site construction activities across civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, telecom and commissioning.
• Develop execution strategies, work packs, resource plans and detailed construction schedules.
• Ensure work is performed in line with IFC drawings, method statements, risk assessments and ADNOC specifications.
• Monitor progress, implement recovery plans and manage brownfield modifications, shutdowns, tie‑ins and live plant interfaces.
• Promote a strong HSE culture, enforce ADNOC HSE Management System, PTW, SIMOPS procedures and Life‑Saving Rules.
• Conduct safety reviews, toolbox talks, HAZID workshops and incident investigations.
• Coordinate with Project Controls for progress measurement, productivity monitoring and forecasting.
• Act as the primary construction liaison for ADNOC, EPCM contractors, consultants, vendors and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with ITPs, quality procedures and timely closure of NCRs and punch items.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing onshore EPC construction projects in the oil & gas sector.
• Strong leadership in HSE and quality management.
• Ability to coordinate multiple disciplines and stakeholder groups.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills in fast‑paced environments.
