Construction Manager – Fit‑Out for Hospital Project

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead the fit‑out phase of a major hospital project. You will be responsible for coordinating all interior construction activities, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and healthcare compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all fit‑out and construction activities according to approved drawings, specifications, programme, and quality standards.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors, and specialist contractors to ensure timely and efficient execution.
• Coordinate architectural finishes, partitions, ceilings, flooring, doors, joinery, and other interior works.
• Work closely with MEP, HVAC, electrical, ELV, fire protection, medical gas, and other specialist hospital systems.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Liaise with consultants, client representatives, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical and site issues.
• Monitor progress, productivity, manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved materials, HSE requirements, and healthcare standards.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover.
• Identify construction risks, delays, and interface issues and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of construction experience, with significant experience in fit‑out projects.
• Proven experience on hospital or healthcare projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of architectural fit‑out and MEP coordination.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, QA/QC, HSE, and project coordination.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
