Construction Manager

About the role

Legend Dragon Building Contracting L.L.C. is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead site activities for a commercial/residential building project in Dubai. The role involves overseeing daily construction operations, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the project meets design, quality, safety and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily site construction activities across civil, structural, architectural, finishing and MEP works.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, subcontractors, materials, plant, equipment and other site resources.
• Translate the project programme into practical daily and weekly work plans.
• Monitor progress, productivity, quality and site performance against the approved schedule.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, foremen and labour teams.
• Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and consultant instructions.
• Oversee excavation, shoring, raft foundation, concrete works, blockwork, plaster, finishing, façade and MEP coordination, testing, commissioning, snagging and handover.
• Prepare and submit inspection documents to consultants on time.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring adequate manpower, materials, tools and supervision.
• Work closely with Planning Engineer to update progress, identify delays and prepare recovery plans.
• Maintain site records, daily reports, progress photos, inspection status, delays and site instructions.
• Enforce safety requirements and coordinate with the Safety Officer to maintain a safe site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of construction experience with building contractors.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a Construction Manager or similar senior site‑management role.
