Construction Manager – Roads & Bridges

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to lead and control all on‑site activities and subcontractors for major roads and bridges infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day site operations for infrastructure works, ensuring execution according to approved plans, specifications and schedules.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour to optimise resource use.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations and site‑specific rules.
• Implement and enforce QA/QC procedures, monitor workmanship and material compliance.
• Ensure all construction activities meet local and national regulatory requirements, including permits and approvals.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients and stakeholders, providing progress updates and reports.
• Address and resolve issues affecting progress, quality or safety.
• Lead and supervise the site team, assign tasks, monitor performance and promote accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of construction experience, with hands‑on experience in roads and bridges infrastructure.
• Currently residing in the UAE.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale site operations and multidisciplinary teams.
