Construction Site Lead (PMC)

About the role

The PMC Construction Site Lead will head the project construction team in Abu Dhabi, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of oil & gas assets. This senior position combines strategic planning, safety stewardship, and hands‑on management of contractors and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the construction team to meet project objectives while championing the "Nobody gets Hurt" safety culture.
• Manage contractor planning, execution and compliance with project strategies, obligations and safety expectations.
• Establish and coordinate a dedicated construction organization to implement execution plans and resource requirements.
• Oversee the development of an Integrated Safety Plan, including SIMOPS for island and brownfield work.
• Interface with ADNOC and other stakeholders to minimise production disruption during brownfield activities.
• Report progress, performance and issues to the Project Team and sponsor readiness reviews and constructability workshops.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (or equivalent) and a Master’s degree in management or related field.
• 20+ years of oil & gas construction management experience on major projects.
• Proven experience managing global contractors, suppliers and recruiting technical staff.
• Strong decision‑making ability and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
