Construction Site Logistics Engineer

About the role

The Construction Site Logistics Engineer supports planning, coordination and oversight of all logistical aspects of a construction project, ensuring smooth site operations, safe material handling and compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Procure and manage a site‑wide logistics contractor and monitor service delivery against measurable goals.
• Ensure orderly, safe and efficient movement of labour, plant and materials across the site.
• Maintain a secure, well‑kept site through regular logistics meetings and effective security management.
• Oversee worker accommodation, site‑specific safety manuals, first‑aid provision and emergency plans.
• Develop and maintain supply‑chain processes, movement plans, look‑ahead forecasting and signage aligned with corporate branding.
• Secure all necessary permits for logistics operations and review cost plans against established budgets.
• Maintain a detailed risk register, coordinate mitigation actions and communicate updates to all stakeholders.
• Provide interface coordination across consultants, external access routes and public‑access facilities such as show houses.

Required profile

• Minimum 180 months (15 years) of experience in construction logistics or related fields.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale site logistics, safety compliance and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience in developing site‑specific safety manuals, emergency plans and risk registers.
