Construction Specialist II

About the role

Worley is seeking a Construction Specialist II to lead quality and safety assurance on construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures that the EPC contractor delivers work that meets project specifications, standards and HSSEQ objectives, supporting the safe and timely hand‑over of assets to the owner.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the achievement of HSSEQ goals through personal leadership and active involvement.
• Review, approve and witness Construction Site Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) issued by the EPC contractor.
• Monitor EPC contractor compliance with the Project Quality Plan, ITPs and related procedures.
• Administer quality performance, review quality control reports and approve documents such as WQT, PQR, WPS and NDT reports.
• Initiate, review and close Non‑Conformity Reports (NCRs), analysing root causes and corrective actions.
• Conduct regular audits of the EPC contractor and lead weekly construction‑site quality meetings.
• Ensure timely submission of marked‑up As‑Built drawings and final documentation before provisional acceptance.
• Oversee preparation and approval of Test‑Pack, Mechanical Completion and Ready‑for‑Start‑up dossiers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction quality and safety management on EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSSEQ standards and project quality management systems.
• Ability to lead audits, manage NCRs and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail and capability to ensure documentation completeness.
