Construction Supervisor – Civil

About the role

Petrofac is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to lead civil works on site. You will oversee daily construction activities, ensure safety compliance, and drive quality outcomes across multiple disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical, piping, painting, insulation, refractory and fire‑proofing activities.
• Conduct toolbox talks and participate in HSE meetings and site walks.
• Monitor daily progress, prepare construction reports and manpower forecasts.
• Promote safety, address hazards immediately, and enforce HSE procedures.
• Implement QinC “build right first time” initiatives and manage inspection sign‑offs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, resolve issues, and ensure material control.
• Coach and mentor less‑experienced staff and provide feedback via observation forms.
• Oversee additional work from site instructions until closure.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising civil construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of underground activities, earthworks, concrete, steel and road works.
• Ability to train subcontractors and conduct quality‑control inspections.
• Excellent communication for toolbox talks and safety briefings.
