Construction Supervisor (EIT)

About the role

Supervise daily EIT installation work and guide field crews to meet approved drawings, quality requirements and construction targets.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate daily work to electrical, instrumentation and telecommunications crews within assigned scope.
• Check approved drawings, materials, tools, access and permits before starting activities.
• Supervise cable trays, pulling, glanding, terminations, equipment installation and instrument hook‑ups.
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safe work practices and isolation controls.
• Check installation workmanship and request inspections at required hold points.
• Coordinate with adjacent disciplines to avoid clashes and protect completed installations.
• Record quantities, manpower, progress and constraints, and escalate technical issues.
• Support testing teams, punch clearance and completion documentation without unauthorized energisation.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation or a related discipline.
• 6+ years in EIT construction, including 2+ years supervising field crews.
