Construction Timekeeper

About the role

Nova GC is looking for an experienced Timekeeper to support its construction operations in Abu Dhabi. The role keeps accurate workforce attendance records and prepares timely reports for payroll and site management. It is a full-time position with an estimated salary of AED 10,000 to AED 15,000 per month.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and record daily employee attendance using biometric attendance systems.
• Prepare accurate daily, weekly and monthly timesheets.
• Record, verify and maintain overtime hours and the required approvals.
• Prepare daily manpower attendance reports for construction site operations.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and HR teams to resolve attendance discrepancies.
• Maintain records of employee leave, absences and overtime.
• Submit attendance data for payroll processing within established deadlines.
• Monitor workforce attendance and manpower deployment across project sites.
• Organize and maintain attendance records and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company attendance policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Timekeeper in the construction or contracting industry.
• Diploma level qualification.
• Ability to work closely with site supervisors, HR personnel and project teams.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, biometric attendance systems and timesheet management.
• Attendance reporting, overtime calculations, timesheet preparation and payroll support.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, accuracy and effective communication.
