Consultant Anesthesiologist

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Anesthesiologist to join our clinical team at M42 in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering safe and effective anesthesia services across surgical, procedural, and critical care settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective anesthesia care across peri‑operative settings, including elective and emergency procedures.
• Manage anesthesia and pain control for long‑term care (LTC) patients.
• Conduct pre‑operative assessments and post‑operative follow‑ups.
• Offer clinical support in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including airway management, sedation, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, ICU physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, hospital policies, and patient safety standards.

Required profile

• Medical degree with specialization in Anesthesiology.
• Consultant‑level certification recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi.
• Valid DOH license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Proven experience in anesthesia practice, preferably in ICU and LTC settings.
• Strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and commitment to high‑quality patient care.
