Consultant Cardiologist – Leading Hospital in UAE

About the role

A leading healthcare provider in the UAE is seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiologist to join its expanding cardiology services. The role offers the chance to work in a modern clinical environment delivering comprehensive cardiac care to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension and arrhythmias.
• Perform and interpret cardiac investigations such as ECG, echocardiography, stress testing and other diagnostic studies within scope of practice.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, provide medical management, preventive strategies and coordinate referrals for advanced cardiac interventions.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, imaging specialists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality‑improvement initiatives and evidence‑based cardiology protocols.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or specialist qualification in cardiology (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/MRCP, European Board, Arab Board, etc.) with eligibility for UAE medical licensing.
• Strong clinical judgement, commitment to evidence‑based practice and patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills for culturally diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to adapt to UAE healthcare regulations, documentation standards and hospital governance.
