Consultant Child Psychiatrist (Full‑time)

About the role

The American Center for Psychiatry and Neurology (ACPN) is seeking a Consultant Child Psychiatrist to join its multidisciplinary team. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in AD and focuses on delivering comprehensive psychiatric care to children and adolescents.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for pediatric patients.
• Provide evidence‑based psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with psychologists, neurologists, primary care providers, and other specialists to ensure integrated, family‑centered care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
• Contribute to specialized clinics, health‑education initiatives, and quality‑improvement activities.
• Supervise junior clinical staff as needed.

Required profile

• Medical degree with completed residency in Psychiatry.
• Formal fellowship or specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Eligibility for re‑licensure in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven experience managing a wide range of developmental, behavioral, and emotional disorders in children and adolescents.
• Strong communication skills for engaging patients, families, and a culturally diverse team.
