Consultant Colorectal Surgeon – UAE

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its colorectal, proctology, pelvic floor and minimally invasive surgical services. The organisation seeks a highly skilled Consultant Colorectal Surgeon to join a multidisciplinary clinical team and deliver high‑quality care to a diverse international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, anorectal disorders and pelvic floor conditions.
• Perform colonoscopy, proctology procedures and colorectal surgery within granted privileges.
• Utilise minimally invasive, laparoscopic or robotic techniques where appropriate.
• Participate in tumour board meetings with oncology, radiology, pathology and gastroenterology teams.
• Oversee stoma care, postoperative recovery, surveillance and long‑term patient counselling.
• Maintain consent, operative documentation, infection‑prevention and surgical quality standards.

• Strong clinical judgement with a commitment to evidence‑based practice and patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills for culturally diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to adapt to UAE healthcare regulations, documentation standards and hospital governance.
