About the role
We are seeking a Western‑trained Consultant in Critical Care / Intensive Care Medicine to join a leading hospital in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide specialist and consultant‑level care to critically ill patients and contribute to multidisciplinary intensive care services.
Key responsibilities
- Provide consultant‑level assessment and management of critically ill patients.
- Manage patients requiring intensive monitoring, organ support and advanced critical care.
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary clinical discussions and treatment planning.
- Perform and supervise critical care procedures within the physician's scope of practice.
- Respond to acute deterioration and medical emergencies.
- Collaborate closely with anaesthesia, emergency medicine, surgery and other specialist teams.
- Supervise and support junior doctors and clinical staff.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical governance and patient‑safety initiatives.
- Contribute to teaching, training and professional development activities.
Required profile
- Western‑trained Consultant in Critical Care / Intensive Care Medicine with a recognised specialist/consultant qualification from an approved Western jurisdiction.
- Strong post‑qualification clinical experience in critical care, managing complex adult critically ill patients.
- Current professional registration/licence in the country of practice and eligibility for DHA licensing in Dubai.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
What we offer
- Maximum package of AED 45,000 per month, inclusive of housing and travel allowance.
- One‑month hotel accommodation upon arrival in Dubai.
