Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician – Dubai (Tax-Free)

About the role

A leading multispecialty hospital in Dubai is expanding its emergency and acute care services. The Consultant/Specialist Emergency Medicine Physician will join a multidisciplinary team to deliver rapid, high‑quality emergency care to a diverse international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Rapid assessment, diagnosis and management of acute medical, surgical and traumatic conditions in the emergency department.
• Stabilise life‑threatening emergencies, including cardiac, respiratory, neurological and trauma cases.
• Perform airway management, intubation, resuscitation, wound care, fracture stabilisation and procedural sedation.
• Lead advanced life support, cardiac arrest management and trauma response efforts.
• Utilise point‑of‑care testing, imaging and laboratory investigations for swift clinical decisions.
• Coordinate admissions, referrals and discharge planning with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and adhere to evidence‑based protocols and UAE healthcare regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years post‑specialist or board certification in Emergency Medicine.
• Recognised qualifications such as US Board, UK CCT/FRCEM/MRCEM, European Board, Royal College (Canada), Australian FACEM, Arab Board or FCPS.
• Eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOH licensing (support provided).
