Consultant – Fetal Medicine (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Fetal Medicine to provide expert diagnosis, assessment, and management of fetal conditions and high‑risk pregnancies in a state‑of‑the‑art facility in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced fetal imaging, including detailed anomaly scans and fetal echocardiography.
• Provide prenatal counseling to expectant parents on conditions, prognosis, and management options.
• Assess maternal history and develop individualized care plans.
• Perform or supervise invasive procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
• Carry out fetal therapeutic interventions, including fetal blood transfusions and fetoscopic procedures.
• Collaborate with obstetrics, neonatology, genetics, pediatric surgery, and radiology teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement, teaching, and research activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Specialty training in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Fellowship or certification in Fetal Medicine from an international body.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Consultant in a tertiary care hospital.
• Western education or experience in a recognized healthcare system (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.).
• Valid DHA, DOH, or MOH Consultant license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English (Arabic advantageous).
