Consultant Internal Medicine (Western Qualified)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Internal Medicine to deliver comprehensive, evidence‑based care to adult patients in a leading private hospital in Sharjah. The role involves managing a wide spectrum of acute and chronic conditions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, evaluate and manage diverse adult medical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical guidelines.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient internal medicine services.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and referring physicians.
• Interpret laboratory results, imaging studies and diagnostic procedures.
• Manage complex cases requiring multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Supervise junior physicians and contribute to clinical teaching.
• Participate in medical audits, quality improvement and clinical governance activities.
• Maintain accurate, timely and confidential medical documentation.
• Promote preventive health and patient education while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and international accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Medical degree with board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Western qualified physician licensed to practice in the UAE.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, patient‑centered care and continuous improvement.
