Consultant Interventional Radiologist – UAE (Tax‑Free)

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its minimally invasive, image‑guided diagnostic and therapeutic services. The organisation seeks a highly skilled Consultant Interventional Radiologist to join a multidisciplinary clinical team serving a diverse international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Perform image‑guided vascular and non‑vascular interventions using fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT and angiography.
• Assess patients, obtain consent, plan procedures and manage peri‑procedural risk.
• Deliver biopsies, drainages, embolisation, angioplasty, stenting and venous access procedures.
• Interpret imaging findings and collaborate with surgery, oncology, nephrology, emergency and critical‑care teams.
• Maintain radiation safety, sterile technique, procedural documentation and complication monitoring.
• Contribute to service development, multidisciplinary meetings and clinical governance.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised interventional radiology qualification (e.g., ABR IR/DR, UK CCT/FRCR, European Board, Royal College Canada, FRANZCR, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS).
• Strong clinical judgement with a commitment to evidence‑based practice and patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills for culturally diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to adapt to UAE healthcare regulations and documentation standards.
