Consultant Neurointerventional Radiology

About the role

The Abu Dhabi Region is seeking an experienced Consultant in Neurointerventional Radiology to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering high‑quality diagnostic and interventional services, overseeing junior staff, and contributing to departmental performance and compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat neurovascular conditions following best‑practice standards.
• Lead ward rounds, reassess in‑patients and out‑patients, and ensure accurate clinical documentation.
• Oversee junior medical staff, providing guidance and ensuring safe patient care.
• Participate in peer‑review, productivity, and utilization review processes.
• Support the Division Chief with scheduling, recruitment, and administrative duties.
• Collaborate with other specialties and attend multidisciplinary meetings to plan holistic patient care.
• Prepare patients for procedures, obtain informed consent, and manage referrals from various sources.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Neurointerventional Radiology.
• Board certification (American Board, CCT UK, Australian Board, or equivalent) and fellowship in Neurointerventional Radiology.
• Minimum 5 years post‑specialisation clinical experience.
• Current national medical license and proof of annual CME.
• Compliance with SEHA policies and regulatory requirements.
