Consultant Neurologist – Abu Dhabi

About the role

A leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Consultant Neurologist to join its multidisciplinary clinical team. The role involves delivering specialist neurological care to a diverse patient population in a modern hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with neurological conditions.
• Provide specialist consultations for complex cases.
• Manage conditions including stroke, epilepsy, headaches, movement disorders, neuromuscular disorders, multiple sclerosis, and others.
• Interpret and correlate investigations such as EEG, EMG/NCS, neuroimaging, and other diagnostic tests.
• Develop treatment and follow‑up plans based on clinical assessment.
• Collaborate with emergency, intensive care, neurosurgery, radiology, rehabilitation and other specialist teams.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical governance, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or specialist qualified neurologist (e.g., American Board of Neurology, UK CCT/MRCP, European Board, Royal College Canada, Australian/New Zealand, Arab Board, MD/DNB/DM/FCPS).
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensing and facility credentialing.
• Experience in managing a broad range of neurological disorders.
